Ethical and social responsibility, transparency and integrity have always been fundamental principles guiding the activities of SOVEL RAIL TRACTION SRL. Maintaining high ethical standards is now also supported by ‘whistleblowing’, i.e. the reporting of irregularities.”

For this reason, SOVEL RAIL TRACTION SRL has implemented an IT platform through which specific ‘whistleblowing’ reports may be submitted, with a guarantee of absolute confidentiality.
Let us now take a closer look at these reports.

“WHISTLEBLOWING”
– What is meant by ‘whistleblowing’?
As provided for by Legislative Decree No. 24/2023, “whistleblowing” consists of reporting suspected unlawful conduct within our organization through the specific channel made available by SOVEL RAIL TRACTION SRL.

The purpose of the reporting channel is to prevent and detect activities that harm the public interest or the integrity of the public administration or the private entity and which, among other things, may consist of:
1) administrative, accounting, civil or criminal offences;
2) unlawful conduct relevant pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 231 of 8 June 2001, or violations of the organizational and management models provided for therein.

By way of example only, such offences include those against life and physical safety committed in violation of occupational health and safety regulations; those protecting the environment; offences against the Public Administration; financial offences; and so on.

Reports, which must be detailed and based on precise and consistent factual elements, can be submitted by accessing the web platform and following the instructions provided therein.
